Walden Haran Williams LLP Files Suit On Behalf of NY Residents Challenging City Hall’s End to E-Bike Enforcement
Walden Haran Williams LLP has filed a lawsuit on behalf of nine New York City residents challenging City Hall’s directive ending criminal enforcement of e-bike violations, a policy that has left our clients and other vulnerable pedestrians, crash victims, seniors, parents, and New Yorkers with mobility challenges at increased risk on city streets, sidewalks, and crosswalks.
The suit seeks to restore lawful enforcement tools and protect pedestrians from reckless, unregulated e-bike and e-scooter conduct. The WHW team is led by Jim Walden and includes Hunter Pearl, Katherine Mannion, and Sid Singh.
